I finally had a Niagara Falls tour the other day, however, I must let you know that you should be cautious once you choose your tour company. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful and amazing, but only a good tour could guarantee you could fully benefit from the beautiful scenery.
As a must be seen, Niagara Falls has turned into a world-wide popular scenic spot. Many tour companies have Niagara tour line, so I have booked one which has the name of so-called king travel. However, I had not been pleased with it through my whole tour, and I’d never choose it again.
I ran across many problems in this unhappy tour. The bus would pick me up from the hotel at 8:45 am on the tour schedule, so I got up at 8:00 each morning. When I brushed my teeth, my cell phone was ringing, and I was told to get downstairs at this time. I had already confirmed enough time with the tour guide the day before yesterday, however, he didn’t tell me that the pick up time would be 30 minutes earlier than the predetermined time. THEREFORE I had to hurry up and get on the bus.
Niagara Tours were very rude. I paid a supplementary fee for $80, and I asked why they charged me $160 instead of specified $80. They explained that there was an increasing fee of the tax. But finally it turned out that I had covered 2 people. Though they repaid the money to me, they didn’t apologize if you ask me. Moreover, they pretended to be modest while watching passengers, they were very rude in private.
My tour guide was an middle-aged man. He had not been friendly and informative. Instead of explaining the scenery and formations of Niagara Falls to us, he tried his far better persuade us to buy souvenirs. Furthermore, our group cancelled the scenic spot – the flower clock, as the tour guide said that people didn’t have sufficient time. On the way back to our hotel, the tour bus didn’t stop directly in front of the hotel, so we’d to walk quarter-hour to get back. I was very tired following a day’s sightseeing, and I went to bed as soon as I entered my room.
